Terms of Use

This is a translation for convenience. If it differs from the Russian version, the Russian version prevails.

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a public offer and set out the conditions for using the Izba VPN browser extension for Google Chrome (the "Extension") between the administration of the Extension (the "Administration") and the user (the "User").

1. General provisions

1.1. By installing the Extension, creating an account in it, activating the trial or paying for a subscription, the User confirms that they have read these Terms and the Privacy Policy and accept them in full and without reservation.

1.2. If the User does not agree with these Terms, they should stop using the Extension and remove it from the browser.

2. Subject of the Terms

2.1. The Administration enables the User to route Chrome browser traffic through an HTTPS proxy server located in the Russian Federation, so that Russian websites can be accessed from abroad with a Russian IP address.

2.2. The Extension applies only to the traffic of the Chrome browser in which it is installed. Traffic from other browsers and applications on the device is not routed through the server.

2.3. The Extension does not read or modify the content of web pages and does not inject code into them.

2.4. The Administration does not guarantee that any particular third-party website or service will work: they may change their access rules independently of the Extension.

2.5. The Administration may change the features of the Extension.

3. Account

3.1. An account is required to use the Extension. Sign-in is by email address and password (the address is confirmed with a 6-digit code sent by email) or, at the User's choice, via Telegram login.

3.2. The User undertakes to provide a valid email address, keep their password secret and not give access to the account to third parties.

3.3. The User is responsible for all actions performed using their account.

4. Free trial

4.1. The User is granted a free trial of 24 hours once.

4.2. The trial is granted to one account and one installation of the Extension. The Administration may refuse a trial if there are signs of abuse, including attempts to obtain it again.

5. Plans and payment

5.1. Current plans: 1 month — 450 ₽; 3 months — 990 ₽. Current prices are shown on the checkout page.

5.2. A subscription is purchased on the checkout page to which the Extension directs the User. The subscription is linked to the User's account: a subscription purchased for the Extension is the subscription of that account.

5.3. Payment is processed by a payment agent (Platega). Bank card data is processed by the payment agent; the Administration does not receive it.

5.4. The subscription does not renew automatically: the User renews it manually.

6. Acceptable use

6.1. The User undertakes to use the Extension for its intended purpose and in accordance with applicable law.

6.2. The Extension must not be used for:

• illegal activity, fraud or distribution of malware;
• spam, attacks on networks and services, scanning or hacking;
• file sharing via BitTorrent and other P2P networks;
• reselling access to third parties;
• sharing the account or sign-in credentials with others, or using one account jointly;
• interfering with the operation of the Extension and servers, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to their data.

6.3. If clause 6.2 is violated, the Administration may restrict or terminate the User's access without a refund.

7. Liability and availability

7.1. The Extension is provided "as is". The Administration makes efforts to ensure uninterrupted operation but does not guarantee the absence of interruptions, including those caused by maintenance, browser updates, or actions of providers and third parties.

7.2. The Administration is not liable for losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Extension, or for the content of third-party websites and services.

7.3. The User is responsible for their own actions when using the Extension.

8. Refunds

8.1. The User may request a refund if no more than 5 calendar days have passed since payment and the subscription has not been used, or if the service was not provided due to the Administration's fault.

8.2. To request a refund, contact support and provide the account email address, the date, amount and method of payment.

8.3. Refunds are made by the same method used for payment, less payment system fees.

8.4. No refund is made if the subscription has been used or more than 5 calendar days have passed since payment.

9. Personal data

9.1. The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

10. Changes and other terms

10.1. The Administration may change these Terms. The new revision is published on this page and takes effect upon publication. Continued use of the Extension means acceptance of the changes.

10.2. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, failing agreement, in the manner provided by applicable law.

10.3. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
